hi all
could anybody tell me the different high range gear ratios as fitted to
the lt95 transfer box as fitted to stage1,range rover,101fc and early
110 v8?
also are the handbrake set ups all the same?

Without everyone else doing some basic research for you, what is it that you are trying to achieve?

what i am trying to achieve is my stage1 has a 5speed long stick gearbox
fitted from a range rover-it feels over geared, handbrake is useless+speedo
reads miles out
i have been offered 3 lt95s-one from a rangie(minus bell housing),one from
a 101fc and one possibley from an early 110
trying to work out which one will match original spec the closest+easiest
to fit

NONE.

However you will probably be able to salvage enough parts from all three to achieve a match for the correct box.

I assume that the gearbox you currently have fitted is the LT77 box?
I would think a little more before fitting an LT95 back in.
Of course it all depends on what you are trying to achieve, but the 95 is quite a noisy gearbox compaired to the 77, you've got 5 gears as apposed to just 4, which should help to improve the 'economy'.
The speedo can be re-calibrated, speak to speady cables about their recalibration service, and to improve the handbrake you could fit the X eng handbrake kit (replaces the drum handbrake with a disc). If the engine is struggling with the high ratio's, make sure the restrictors in the intake manifold have been removed.
My stage 1 (Alice) will end up with this setup. like I say it all depends on what you want at the end of the day!!
Hope that this helps!
