wrong brake hoses

Post by sebking »

Didn't check properly so ordered 1980 onwards front hoses as mine in an '82 and the don't fit (different thread). Go and recheck and find that the set up I have is pre 1980.

Annoyed. So now off the road again and hope I can order on Friday and get a Saturday delivery.

Not the only one to do that

Mine is a later 81 (oct/nov from menory) so I did the same.
Wrong thread as well (Lr is fitted with imperial fittings it would seem) - but as I needed to make new hard lines anyway I made them with the imperial thread at the T piece and the post 80 metric thread at the flexi end. Will have a future owner swearing that one
