Hey Spen. Good to hear.

I've heard conflicting stories about Waxoyl, Dinitrol, etc. I've used Dinitrol and found it to be excellent with one big downside. It burns with smelly thick smoke if you are welding or using an angle grinder. It's also a bugger to work with when you are under the vehicle because it smears and is really dirty. It does come off, so if you power wash, then you need to replace the patches that came off (constant maintenance).

It would seem a better and longer term solution is POR15. If you then choose to put wax on over the top, then that can act as an ablative surface. That's what I will be doing when I get around to stripping off some body panels.

Not having much luck in uploading some pics :(
I suspect it's finger trouble
Still a long way to go before I can try the brakes out in anger.
Need to build the engine, fit gearbox, fit fuel tank, sort out wiring loom, interior, etc

I still don't seem to be able to upload pics.

Further progress. New wheels and tyres have been fitted, Defender dash has been modified and fitted. Doors painted. New lights fitted, and I have now moved onto the engine build. All exciting stuff!! I will keep on trying with the photos, just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Stick links to where they are found. We can do it, maybe.

Still don't know why these won't appear. I found that the settings for the albums were wrong. I have changed them but still no sucess.
The above are the links to the pics.
Confused!!

Well I haven't been keeping this blog upto date very well, been nearly a year since my last post

Some more progress has been made, although work has prevented me form having time to work on Alice, however I now have a major push to get her on the road before the end of the year.
Instruments have been fitted, new replacement Smiths clocks and I have changed the layout slightly, I'll try to get some pics up.

The engine has been rebuilt, with lots of new bits and will shortly have a session on the dyno so we'll see how many horses I have!!

Biggest problem is finding where I put everything!!!

Looking for a replacement choke cable for Alice with the correct fitting for the column mounting.
Does anyone know where I can source one from?
Many thanks
