I've been across on the Bikes a few times and Petrol has been significantly cheaper. Super Unleaded was always the order of the day as it was cheap. Only failing was travelling on a Sunday, only a few garages are manned and most are automated and you need a loyalty/payment card.

France is a wonderful place with very few people to populate such a vast country. They are friendly, hospitable and helpful and love cars bike etc. The food is great, again cheap, accomodation is excellent with true service.

Shame the same cannot be said about the French Government
