WANTED: transmission tunnel parts

Post by firemanshort »

I am seeking the piece of steel that fits to the front of the seat box and then the next piece forward for a Stage One 109 (what else?).

I would need part shipped to Huddersfield in the UK.

I remember one of the guys I get parts off here in NZ offering a brand new one of these for sale recently. Freight to the U.K would probably be prohibitive though.

Let me know if you want me to follow it up :!:

Frieght to UK may be high but I could stomach it if the price for the part was low enough. Can you find out how much he wants for the part outright and then what the shipping would be?

The UK shipping was a cheap alternative for UK board members. I am actually in the US - Zip Code 20165. That is where the part will eventually need to end up. Not sure if it is cheaper to one place or the other.

David, I have now looked through all my piles of parts and I do not have the bits you need. Hopefully the ones Terry has will be suitable.

Still Looking

Post by firemanshort »

Thanks for the reply Richard -

Terry's parts were a bit rough. I am hoping I can find cleaner parts.

Do any of you kiwi's think you can offer a solution?

No e-mail received

Post by firemanshort »

I have been waiting for the e-mail with your e-mail address to let you know what is going on with this but I have not received anything yet.

I got a line on some parts that are supposedly coming from Wales to my Land Rover in West Yorkshire. Right parts at price.

But.... these were sight unseen. The shipper said he had no access to a camera. So, if after I get these and find out they are crap, I may be looking your direction, again.

Thanks for the effort. I might be looking in your direction for another oddball Stage One part in a few days.

Hi David, just got your Email, and the return of mine, seem to have trouble with AOL, they have a small traffic allowance. No Worries, have access to most parts, just started putting one of mine back together so will have a better idea of what is spare soon. Didnt go to the auction but heard they were going between 500- 1500GBP. Will be chasing up some of the wreckers to see what is becoming available.
Cheers
Paul.
