Wanted.. Spare wheel bonnet or fittings

Post by Fish »

I have 2 bonnets; stage 1 genuine and an early defender I would like a stage 1 with the wheel holder bits, anyone have one for sale or fancy a swap?

Why not fit the bonnet mounts to the one you have? Same part numbers as the One Ten and Ninety. MRC5801 and MRC5063, plus associated nuts, bolts, and washers.

I also thought they were obsolete parts.

Well what a surprise, just ordered all the bits from PA Blanchard they are the only ones with MRC5801 in stock. It looks like MTC3598 maybe the same though and the number just changed. The retainer MRC5063 is available and Blanchards have the galved ones in.. rubbers MTC4619 easily available and just over a £1 each..

Not the cheapest set of bits when you add them all up but I now have the option and I assume they'll just get rarer...

Cheers
