Cripes. In NZ, we wonder how they can get NZD9000 and in better nick. That translates to NZD17000

I try to communicate to people that these are rare beasts and they need to resist the urge to bastardise them too much.

I think in that case, it is probably worth the price.

Described as a "STAGE 1 LIGHTWEIGHT SERIES 3 109 1 TON V8" ?!?! but actually converted to diesel ... and gas. And it's in Bulgaria.

1. If in fact the vehicle exists, someone is missing their car. I would give a buck a chance it is stolen.
2. Pretty much most on that listing is false.

DIY diesel-gas on a non common rail system. I didn't think it was possible with the lack of manifold vacuum. The tank is probably a canvas bag like LCPL Jones' van. Plus the fuel heater under the rear seat.
Calvin the Land-Rover calculator isn't perfect but I've always found it well worthwhile. Especially with owner creations or creative owner titles for models that never existed. Otherwise it decodes OK save for the country code (first three letters) which probably shouldn't be there. What a pity we don't have a vehicle register.
Bulgaria had an OS oil company that was outside the iron curtain and not using soviet vehicles? How did the song go - France is Algiers/Bulgaria, Algiers is France?
Is it really in England or just the seller's ID? As all the pictures have continental backdrops.
VIN should be a straightforward history check and he is at least asking a reasonable starting price. You can have PayPal buyer security. I wonder how many Romanians will come with the vehicle? There's three tool boxes under the seats...

You may be right this is a BS artist - the auction has been pulled despite there being bidders and it's now been relisted as a classified ad at £22,000 inviting offers.

Apparently the number of followers you have influences your car's value:

I do like where he has put his compressor though. I hadn't thought of that. In mine, that is an internally accessed cubby box.
