SU carburettors

Post by nrv1 »

In order to finish off a refurbishment that has already taken some 5 years I need to source 2 good replacement SU carburettors and linkage together with a manifold. My garage seem unable to source them after making extensive enquires. I don't want to spend £1500 on an upgrade kit which is the only alernative I have been. Given.Any ideas? Thanks.

1500 squid seems like a lot of money.....

Can you source the Edelbrock parts? The intake manifold and 1440 Carb are only a few hundred $$ (USD) combined and if you take the time to install yourself - you save even more cash.

Just to confirm, you are after a pair of SU carbs, with linkage and manifold?
I will ask how much this will cost as I do happen to know where there are some :D
