The end of another Stage 1

Post by Jules »

Sadly, I am having to "call time" on my V8 project and I am selling it for parts. It was a station wagon and had been modified into a crew cab pick up. I've sold the bulkhead (which was mint) and now have chassis, axles, props, engine, gearbox, parabolic springs (new) and Rocky Mountain shocks. I tried selling the complete wiring loom on eBay and only got £21 so a bit surprised at the market. If you would like to make any offers on parts, give me a call on 07958 949 767.

Oi! I thought the engine had my name on it?

Regards,

Paul.

Do you have the plastic clam shell surround peices that go around the steering colomn? On mine, the nuts in the top piece have stripped out making it hard to tighten it up properly.

Photos, price and an estimate to ship to Cockermouth, UK - please.

Typical rubbish BL engineering, that. Same thing on mine and some twat then "fixed" it by sticking a self-tapping screw right through the plastic. :?

I suppose you could fill the holes with epoxy resin and micro-balls and put a new screw in place.

Jules:
You still got the indicator stalk and steering column fitting? How much you want for that, and cost of shipment to NZ?

Cheers
Alan

Do you have the badge?!?! (Might seem insignificant, but not to me for some reason!)
You are no match for my Austin Metro
