LT 95 + Overdirve idealy

I have now manged to get the parts for the swivel rebuild I want to move on to the leeks in the gear box,

My plan is to find a used LT95 and rebuild it, using a correct speedo gear (the one in is wrong) then idealy mount and overdive and swap the one in service out

change clutch etc while its out

So Looking for a used LT95 not to far away from east yorkshire, anyone got one that needs rehoming

I idealy also want that overdrive I have located a couple but both a fair distance from me ... oh while I think about it how rare are the clutch sleaves for these overdives?

theres one on ebay atm, (even has the OD linkage)
Im watching it as i want the prop flange from it (bit excessive to get a box+Od , but needs must

)

OD clutch sleves are NLA as far as i know (if anyone knows otherwise let me know please)
I may have an overdrive spare (but its missing clutch sleeve) , and need to check out the one i intend to fit first

Plan was/is to grab it, copy the linkages and get them remade (I already have someone to make them!)

Seb you buy it first, get the linkage make copy etc

I buy the box of seb, 5988 as I wont need to flanges we could come to an accomitation!

£200 for a gearbox located in the middle of nowhere.
Too rich for me once the delivery was included.

last lt95 with OD (from a RR) I got was I think £70...

yes but that wont satisfy some rebuilders ... gen stage 1 only its all in the details

70 pounds is more my kind of money!

yep the words Stage 1 on anything and it goes silly
and the claimed 27000 miles probbaly helped its price
Still compared to a 4/6cyl box with OD quite cheap, you struggle to get an OD alone for £300 for them

You could try ACH Land Rover specialist in Lowestoft, he had a couple of LT 95's with O/D's when I purchased a hood and sticks from him last year.
I don't think he has a website, but if you google ACH Land Rover you will find him.

Indeed one of the ODs I have located is with ACH its a hell of a long way from me and its not somewhere I normaly get to. I thought that he only had the OD will ask him about a box as well
