hello fellow petrol heads. have had my v8 for about 4 years now and wouldnt be without it now. its a truck cab with a gamic trailor canopy on the back( a bit like an ifor williams but better). fitted a zf auto box in it for easy driving after hip replacement. gets plenty of use off road during the shooting season and is un stoppable off road. have put many new discos and range rovers to shame ! ! zf auto box to series 3 speedo is so inaccurate. dont know what the top speed is but not much overtakes me on the motorway when i can afford it. just replaced the front drive shafts with defender ones. will let you know how it goes, got to save up for the mot !

Would be good to see some pics of your truck and the canopy especially. Does the zf box eliminate the CDL?
