Colour??

Post by olliebarrett_92 »

I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this..
I have recently repainted my Stage One in Masai Red, which I have researched and is the correct colour? Yes?
However, my Stage One is a utility vehicle, so has got the hard top which I have repainted in Limestone. I think originally it was a truck cab and has been adapted into a hard top, which I think has just come off a 109 Series 3, so it was in Limestone for that, which is the correct colour.
When they made the Stage Ones did they paint the hard tops, if they even released any in a hard top, in limestone or in the white?

any thoughts welcome.. thanks
Ollie

Ollie,

That's a hard question. Looking at the colour chart white is not an option, only Limestone. But looking at brochures they appear to be white, although that could be the result of colour adjustments from printing and scanning.

Glencoyne may be able to confirm.

All the ones I have seen have been Limestone. I recently broke an Inca Yellow vehicle  and that definitely had a Limestone top.
