Stage 1 Register of vehicles...

...seemed to die a death.

As I am a closet Stage 1 anorak, I list any I spot in the public domain and have just copied over the spreadsheet here:

http://www.pegasusparts.co.uk/bulkheadblog/

These are just the ones with confirmed VIN numbers, I have another list of about 80 that have registration numbers only, and a list of another 30 that appear on the DVLA site and could potentially be 109 V8 (or Range-Rover 'Classic, I've got a feeling they could both appear under the same description and engine type/cc)

If you want to add yours, drop me an email.

It's a basic simple list, but it is a start.

Paul.

Well I'm not at all in the closet about being a Stage 1 anorak. One of those you have listed on that link might actually be one of mine but I'm away at the moment and don't have access to my VIN numbers. As soon as I do, I'll let you have the details of my two. (Not sure why I haven't noticed this post before)

Paul,

Is there a less public register?...I'd be happy to be counted, but less sure about being out in the wider public domain.

I have similar concerns Bernard and so only provided body type, chassis and engine numbers, no registration number.

Presumably that's because you found the DVLA so 'very relaxed'?

I have just saved a Stage 1 from being scrapped, its a 1980 utility, all complete only just collected it, not got it running yet, its been laid up for 12 years

chassis and bulkhead are in very good shape with it just needing a Drivers footwell, that will be done in the next month when i get time.

its on Parabolics with full stainless exhaust and headers, BFG's all round and swing away rear wheel carrier.

came with spare gearbox and brand new Clucth and spare fuel tank.

Price paid was less than a grand.
