Hi this is the only V8 in Addis Abeba Ethiopia running for now as far as i know, i bought this car from the National Palace in Addis Abeba,it used to belong to the communist, dictator leader(Colonel Mengistu Hailemariam) who toppled the Emperor of Ethiopia in 1974 then stayed in power untill 1991, rumors say that the Colonel loved Land Rovers so he orderd 5 Stage Ones in 1979, but i do not know the whereabouts of the other four. When i baught this car 12 years ago it had only 24000 km only . I customized a few things like paint job, winch, extended roofrack and so, on i will give more details once i am able to post pictures!
Cheers

Wow. Cool Story! :D

Looks like it is in very good condition. The images post well. Great paint styling too.

It would be nice to see some pictures of the engine bay and inside too.

Is the winch pto or hydraulic?

Hi thanks for the compliments,
The winch is electrical but so far i never used it, where other vehicles use their winch i never needed mine cause i i have a Landi V8 :D , by the way i do tour business around Ethiopia,so as a tour operator, i go to very difficult terrains and i am always looking forward to challenges where as others or cars try to avoid them!!!.
I will post pictures of the inside and engine soon,
Cheers
