Need help - front propshaft

Hi, can anyone help. I need to replace my front prop shaft as the spines are worn. It looks like someone has fitted a different shaft as this does not look like the type that should be fitted to the front of a series 3 stage 1. I am new to this site and live in Canberra, Australia.

I am probably not much help but I, too, live in Canberra and happen to have a Stage 1 in my driveway. You are welcome to come and see if mine looks like yours, so to speak.
