I bought (am buying) most of my parts from Dan at D&D Fabircations - the source of the article in the link above.

Dan seems to really know his stuff. We spoke on the phone a good while when I first started my rebuild and we agreed that I could get more power then what the standard 3.5 puts out - but why bother. I was looking for really reliable running, some good low end torque and that was about it. I have been keeping up with my buddies in thier coilers all along so I was not looking for dramatically different performance.

The cost of my 3.5 rebuild is vastly over running estimates (a combination of my bad estimates and a little bad luck). This stroker 4.8 or any of the other very attractive hi-power alternatives make my wallet shreak when I bring the web pages up.

... but we can dream!!!!
