Non viscous fan

Turns out it wasn't the gearbox - it was noise from the fan which eventually came loose and snapped off its blades as I was driving along in the landie on Sunday.

I've been told there may be radiator damage - fingers crossed there isn't - but does anyone know where I could get a replacement fan?

Actually - don't know if it's a viscous or non-viscous fan - anyone know which is the correct part for a stage 1 and the part number?

Mine has a viscous fan - 7 plastic blades and plastic hub attached by 4 bolts to a largeish cast finned hub.

According to the parts manual there was also a non-viscous version with 5 metal blades riveted to a pressed metal hub.

It gives the following numbers for the blades part:

viscous (plastic) 614739
non-viscous (metal) 613087

Mine is the one with the plastic blades - cheers for the info David.

It into the garage tomorrow to see if anything else was damaged when it blew - I'll let you know how I get on.
