Post by Andy Haynes »

The steerin squeeks (I think from the shaft housung behind the rad)
Anyone know how to cure it easily ?

The component you describe is the steering relay. This part is unique to the Stage 1's and is quite difficult to find a replacement if it is worn. The relay should be filled with diff grade oil (EP90) which is filled from one of the bolt holes in the top of the unit. I would separate the joints from the top and bottom of the relay and check it for wear and smooth operation as well as esuring it is sufficiently lubricated.

Good luck...
