LT95 Value?

Post by Cliff4WD »

Anybody able to suggest the UK monetary value of a good condition LT95 from a 110V8?

I would probably ask one of the rebuilders you have there. What about an ex-Rangie box too?

Rebuild kits are still available for these aren't they?

I sold it to a fella who has fully restored a stage one (well he had it done for him). Seems he had a rebuilt engine fitted which had staged heads and power cam, etc. Unfortunately his builders neglected to match the power of the new engine with his gearbox and diffs and he destroyed them as a consequence (so he said). I thought my spare LT95 would probably be better off going to put his stage one right rather than taking up space I don't have. I kept the Fairy OD and sold him the box (it's a 110 Defender LT95) for a very bargain price I thought. I worry that I might regret parting with my backup but I have faith in my own work having rebuilt my box which is original to the vehicle.
