Hi Darren I haven't got a paint code on my vin plate, but I believe that is because mine is in a non standard colour (Royal green apparently. Never heard of it myself!) That is as much as I know. I am currently in the process of respraying mine in bronze green with a limestone roof, and I have just ...

Whilst on the subject of armoured stage 1's, does anyone know anything about the Simba as this is what my power steering kit was removed from. Have only found a print on e-bay of a simba, not much info on the interweb at all, or I am just looking in the wrong places as usual. :D Asked a mate of mine...

We can recondition either the main box or the transfer box, but we would have to prepare the customers own u...

Buick v8

Buick v8
Hi Nick The model was an aluminium V8. Just found this on the inter-web. Aluminum V8 The Oldsmobile/Buick 215 V8 was a small 215 in³ aluminum engine for midsize cars of the 1960s. It was introduced in the 1961 Buick Special, Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85 (where it was called the Rockette), and Pontiac Tem...

Hi Dave I got the kit from Zeus engineering in Devon. It cost me just over 600 quid with the carriage, but what it would be to saudi, I have no idea. The web site is www.zeus.uk.com. Sounds a bit dear, but if your drums are knackered like mine were, only genuine drums are available at 120 quid a pie...

My stage 1
Hi all, again. Just thought I would tell you about my stage 1 stationwagon. I bought it in August last year as a rolling restoration/weekend camper conversion. It is in reasonable condition (apart from the brakes, altough all sorted now!!) for it's age (1982) and the previous owner had fitted a full...

stage 1 v8 brakes and the lack of.........
Hi all. Just fitted a zeus disc brake conversion kit to my stage 1 sw. After a lot of research regarding the bearings and hubs etc, and the price of the kit, I went for the zeus kit as it retains the original hub and stub axles. I fitted the kit in a day and it all went together very well. The only ...
