Source for Stage One Radiator
I am looking into getting my radiator dipped and boiled and so forth. I will get it tested for leaks, too, as I think there may be a tiny one in it due to the constant need to top up the radiator and a stain I found on the radiator once I removed it. If this clean and repair job does not work - if t...

Overdrive with linkage on EBay

All it is missing is the last rod that fits in your hand - that piece is the same for all models of over...

Heater fan intake
So I was poking around my Stage One today. I was looking at the fan motor to see why my low speed is not working.. I was shocked to finally realized that there is no hole in the fender to allow fresh air to go into the fan. WTF? Stage One's are supposed to have the same fan hole that the Series III'...

Primsil Photos
Primsil - if you can get your camera working then I would love to see the factory edition. My truck does OK until it gets above 95F outside. Then the temperature just starts to creep upward to about 75% to 80% of the needle swing. If I get moving on the highway with free air flow then things settle ...

Oil Cooler Photos needed
I am planning out a winter garage project of installing an oil cooler to the Stage One. I have a sandwich plate from a Defender and an oil cooler radiator from an MG. I think that all I need now are some suitable oil lines and some place to mount the oil radiator unit. Does anyone out there in Stage...

sound dead
I am not sure there is anything that can dull the roar of a Series truck.
This coating does take the "ring" out of the large flat metal panels, though.

Liner
I sprayed the inside of my truck with a rubberized bed-liner (www.linex.com). It was done commercially and was not the brush on "Herculiner" product - but it is essentially the same thing. It is not carpet - but it is not bare aluminum. http://www.geocities.com/firemanshort/StageOne/lftsid...

Basket
Are you going to post a photo of the Stage One grill (stainless one mentioned above)?
What is the basket / pouch thing on the Series II grill above? Is that just to hold display litereature?

Winch Bumper
I am thinking about looking for a winch bumper for my Stage One. Do I look for Series III or Defender bumpers?
I would like as simple of a confirguration as possible - so no $afari guard or ARB for me.

What is your destination
[sarcasm]You say you are shipping that goat to Norfolk? Where abouts in Virginia are you settling? Truth be told - things are getting a bit crowded over here in Virginia as far as Stage Ones are concerned.[/sarcasm] I am up in Northern VA and do not like the idea of such a pretty truck showing up to...

Here are some photos of what I am trying to do. The photos linked above only illustated the interior and it had the floor mat over the steel tunnel so I could not see the access hole created. http://www.geocities.com/firemanshort/StageOne/Stage1overdrive.JPG http://www.geocities.com/firemanshort/Sta...
