After being out of the Stage 1 fold for about 4 years, I ve just bought another. Bought her on a whim. Havent seen it but spoke to the seller and it sounds ok. Tell you mere about it on Sunday when I pick her up.

I made the overdrive linkage for my overdrive from 12mm M/Steel bar. It can be cold formed in the vice and drilled and slotted with a slitty disc for the pins. The block is just 30 x 30 square with 3 holes drilled in it. Got a sketch somewhere, i'll dig it out.

Proper Stage 1s have bumpers with separate fixing plates. I have 2 Stage 1 bumpers here in Cornwall with 1 pair of plates.
