It will take a while. But the issues were the space inside the wings and where the pipes come out in relation to the chassis rails and the cross member underneath. Also, the D1 pipes are larger in diameter. Don't know about those ones.

I've got D1 manifolds and they were a very tight squeeze. I still have the original manifolds however.

Will that fit inside the wing?

looks like it's been in dry conditions too. So it is probably a good base for a rebuild.

Good to see you're up and at 'em again. Life's twists and turns are often not predictable.

I think I'd use a metal heater pipe under there, but I'd also work out how I'd mount it with rubber wrapped clips otherwise you might find the vibration causing problems.

I have never before seen an engine rebuilder use filler like that. One hopes that the bolt heads are tightened to correct specs.

We would not normally use gaiters in this part of the world. Mud, grit, and water can get trapped inside and cause rust and pitting on the balls.

The 8000lb Thomas is great. That is what I have on mine, converted to PTO drive from electric.

The misalignment for the exhaust is not surprising given the lower PTO was designed for the One Ten Perentie conversion. But that rear output is a real rarity alright. Well done getting it.

Yes, the Perentie is military grade. It also meant that to have a PTO winch, they needed to make the lower PTO output. It makes for a lot to be running off the engine. The driveline is very interesting. Quite different to the way Perentie did it.
