Hi Michael, I think that would be right, I dont think it wouild be dearer than shipping to the UK. It does include the grille. I have sold the other one today so that is the last one. Cheers.

If you check out Hexs thread on pins and bushes he has a source of swivel pins and is getting railcos made, there were not many new swivel balls to come from the army, AFAIK I sold the only ones to another member on here. It is very possible to do that, and also very possible for cams to be indexed incorrectly, so should always be dialled in with a degree wheel when being installed.

Check your timing, esp the vacuum advance unit and the mixtures arent lean It doesnt sound too bad though, some thermostats only open at 88, I believe up to 110 is considered acceptable, some landrover gauges read in the normal range at that another forum worth checking for you is http://www.v8forum...

I fitted a 4 bolt box to the chassis I scrapped, just had to remove the bracket the relay mounts to and drill and sleeve the holes in the chassis. didnt recess the crossmember at all.

Depending on which year the RR was what the ratio will be, early ratios were 1.174, later 1.0, 1.1227, 0.996. stage 1 and 110 were 1.336
