Stage 1 V8

i put parabolics on & had militery shacles allready fitted, so raised the landy by quite a bit (my girl friend asked bout the free step ladder i shuda got with em so cud get in). but i also have the prob with the front spring hangers as such in that the springs bump the chassis when go over bump...

the other way round it is, if you look at the inlet n outlet pipes, its poss to find another type of valve that has the same amount of inlets n outlets n you can find a way to opperate it, then no resone why it wont work, its realy on a switch, but for water!!

s111 wing tops do fit as i have done this aswell, & also 110 bonnet protectors do fit, you just need to pull the hing end sides to the bonnet when you rivet it in place...

ive just done this last week, i made my owne outrigger nal, cut old one off, then plated the chassis 1st so had a good surface to weld new rigger to, just make sure you dont let the bulk head drop, used bottle jack to hold mine up. just bit diff welding across the top of the outrigger. didnt come ou...

its a v8 valve you want, (not s111) thas why there hard to get hold of, its situated on top at the back of the engien behind the carbs,, mite be worth looking at sd1s n see if they use the same valves.. will have a look at the sd1 rover club n see if can find out for you... i no when i got mine land...

i got my exhaust from scorpion raceing, but i bought 1 to fitt a 110 v8, just had to chop off few inches befor tail pipe went on, only other prob had was the down pipes were catching on the front leaf, rear shackle bolts, but sortd that. you mite also have to lift the engine a little on` as your sat...

best bet for a heater valve im afriad is landrover!! n at over £120 a go v dear, but better than the 1 i got from add in a mag n it lasted 4months n v little use it had nal... n better 2 pay put 4 nu valve than a nu engine...

if u look in LRM, theres lots of places that sell checker wing tops for the stg 1, i got some.. & if you want a bonnet cover? the 110 ons fit ok..
