Thanks for the details for the exhaust. I was looking at a power flow exhaust but after reviews from people that they are just made to be as noisy as possible.

Great British Land Rover Show will be back in Donington Exhibition Centre for an end-of-season hurrah for all things Land Rover on Sunday 29th November 2015.

at least its a good sign that you have oil in there and its not running dry (silver cloud and all that...)

i have a over drive fitted to my new gear box that l am still to fit so any answers would be interded to hear.
can a rubber seal be fitted inside on the shaft to seal the hole?

hi and welcome to the forum, yes it looks like a stage 1 v8. however it does not have the LT95 gear box fitted. there is a later defender box in there! it still has the unique stage 1 transfer cover. it is missing the metal plate 'land rover' name badge over the front grill. somebody has spent a lot...

Just back from the garage. Opened a storage tray and there was my spare ignition rod. Weird!!!

When mine was broken into they smashed the ignition barrel. There was a D profile rod thats approx 3" long

A quick oil change with my dad who had popped up for the day. Sump drain plug was seized but lucky we had a siphon pump. Got to check the antifreeze next

last weekend, used the landy for a mountain bike event - got out to the wood at the back of the course - parked up to set out the race course - back to the landy afterwards to find it wont start!!! :( a tow out of the woods later and home - naff all charge in the battery. £60 later and a recondition...
