Well, I've had about 10 SII, IIa's, and 3's that had those same hi/low and 4wd controls. Except mine weren't LHD.

btw. Arc welding is no more messy than mig, except for a bit of slag. Its certainly cheaper, and IMO, easier. I have only used mig a couple of times, as I really have never had the need for it. My arc/tig does all I ever want, and the oxy/acetylene plant for exhaust tubing, cutting and the like. I'm...

I would be very careful welding on a chassis outrigger if you are not an experienced welder. Vertical up welding is not easy. And, to make it even harder, many L.R chassis's are not *cough* overly sound. Chassis rails are not thick to begin with, and it is easy to blow holes in the chassis wall. oop...
