Hi all Stage 1 will have to go very soon, and I would prefer it to go to an enthusiast that will get it looking smart and keep it on the road. With that in mind, I would let it go for 1950 to someone from this site. I think that is a fair price for the package of spares and the extras on it. If anyo...

Mine was messing me about for the MOT. I fitted a seperate earth for the passenger side and that got it working. Worth a try?

I have got a 120 ltr tank in mine, that was bolted across the wheel boxes in the back of the station wagon, which gives fantastic range of 300 miles, but took all the load space. I wanted the load space, and wasn't too bothered about passengers, so i moved the tank into the footwell of the second ro...

Wilf Are you spraying or brush painting/rollering your landy? If you are brush painting I would say just a drop of thinners to get it to flow nicely from the brush. Spraying, I would say you would need 10% thinners to thin it enough to flow without it being to thin to have more runs than the london ...

Hi Wilf I have just ordered 3 litres of marine blue from paddocks, and it came through the post no trouble. I have used some of it as well, and it goes on a treat once the thinner/paint ratio is sorted! I would think the land rover green you mentioned will be bronze green. This is quite readily avai...

I run BFG mud terrains on mine, 235/85 R16 I think without having a look. Bought them second hand from a guy who had them on a Disco, and they hit his arches. Put them on a set of 8 spokes myself, and have done about 4000miles on them so far with no evidence of wear at all, and they are a lot lot qu...

Hi Noel Nice looking 110 you have there. From the description of your gearbox, it sounds like the layshaft bearings are whining. Mine does that too, so I have bought a spare box to put in just as soon as it gets too bad. It has sounded the same ever since I had it and it hasn't got any worse. On the...

Could be any number of things. If the lamps are ok, check for corrosion on the lamp holders, check for a good earth, then check you have 12 volts at the lamp holder. If not, work your way back to the reverse light switch and check you have 12 volts there. If you have 12 volts going in and nothing co...

Hi Mike. Just seen your other question on General Discussion. They dont alter the track of the vehicle so no spacers needed. Also, I just remembered that after purchasing mine, I found that Bearmach do a disc brake conversion for series Landy's for 464.13. I didn't look any further into wether it fi...

Hi Mike I fitted the Zeus kit to mine as I thought it was the best way to go when I had no end of trouble with the front brakes on mine. I admit the 600 quid price was a bit  but I think I could have spent that and probably more trying to sort the original front brakes. It was a good investme...
