Re: WANTED: transmission tunnel parts

I am seeking the piece of steel that fits to the front of the seat box and then the next piece forward for a Stage One 109 (what else?). I would need part shipped to Huddersfield in the UK. I remember one of the guys I get parts off here in NZ offering a brand new one of these for sale recently. Fr...

get rid of the twin carbs for starters  then get electronic ignition  If you are one of the purists, then you will need to have the carbs balanced, probably needs to be done by a professional. but ask them to set your mixture at around 5-6% carbon monoxide as for ignition timing, if you ...

Would you mind sending a pic of the throttle bracket? will do. just off to work now, damn it. It won't be until the weekend arctic, but I will do it. Its pretty simple, a piece of flat steel with a couple of holes and the original bracket off the old twin carb setup ("s" bend thing...

Kiwi Stage 1

Hi there, I have a great stage 1. Ex-NZ armed forces and was stationed on one of our small offshore islands towing a radio trailer, and consequently has done a genuine 40,000 km's. The other great thing about it is that the chassis was undersealed from new, and as such the chassis and bulkhead are i...

I have a 465 and edelbrock performer on my stage 1. It all goes in sweetly. I made a bracket for the throttle cable myself, very easy to do, it bolted on to one of the bolt holes on the top of the manifold. The throttle cable attaches straight on to the carby linkage without any mods. I just ignored...

I have a '83 stage1 ex NZ Army. I fitted an overdrive off a rangie to the lt95. It does make a difference. I am also thinking I will get a transferbox gear set from a range rover, as these are also higher geared.
