Re: Remanufacture of classic parts
All, The snag with re engineering parts in small volumes is cost... to be honest the amount of work in the heater valves makes them the price they are but if there is no market then its dead in the water. I have been looking at the swivel kit for stage one.... I have tracked down and purchased a gen...

Re: Remanufacture of classic parts
Hi all. For all the people who have emailed me regarding the heater control valves. I have finally been able to work out a unit cost and they are £280 each plus shipping. If there is still enough interest then I am happy to go into manufacture of the first batch of 15 but I would need to ask for a l...

Re: Remanufacture of classic parts
All, Thanks for the list of parts which may be potential for remanufacture. Realistically I could only do these a few at a time and it would be better for me to not go up against Pegasus but to offer the parts which are not out there. I think I could do swivels, stubs and drive members relatively ea...

Re: Breaking stage one V8 Truckcab
Exhaust manifolds if they're original and undamaged would be handy! Can you let me know and how much you'd want for them? Thanks! Hi. Both manifolds are in tact but no guarantee the studs won't break off when we remove the exhaust. The hot air metalwork on the drivers manifold has rusted away but t...

Re: Breaking stage one V8 Truckcab
Hi - a pair of front floor plates would be very handy. the seatbox too (or at least the front panel of it) if I could get it to Manchester. Hi I have taken a look at the seatbox and floors today. All are in very good condition. Even the door ends on the seatbox are not corroded. Not sure what sort ...

Re: Remanufacture of classic parts
All, Here is what I am about to manufacture. I am doing a batch of just 15 and they will be made from Stainless and Aluminium. They are a direct swap out for the originals but I have improved the design of the internal seals and changed the way the whole thing bolts together to make it possible for ...

Remanufacture of classic parts
Hi all, Being a land rover owner of several variants including a few stage ones I know how difficult it is to get some of the more obsolete parts which we all need to keep our vehicles going. With this in mind I have just set up a design and manufacture company and one area we specialise in is the r...

However there are still lots of stage one parts which are well worth having and if anything should help alot of members to keep there's going. If you need any p...
