Howdy :)

Good looking wagon there. Doesn't look like you have to do too much to it, and it is good to see one in grey.

Mine is pretty rough by comparison. Gets a hard life (what they are built for) but running real well at the mo' (touch wood).

Personally I wouldn't go there. It all depends on what kind of stuff you find yourself driving through but I know that I will often find myself with either door hard up against a clay bank and sliding along it or pushing through dense undergrowth. That little plastic thing would be ripped off at onc...

It's always good to hear of successful conversions. For me, for now, I prefer to stay with a 24V system. If and when I do change over to 12V I will be taking the opportunity to do a complete rewire. Get rid of all the oddball army stuff for the split charging system, etc. and replace all the dodgy l...

You are better off taking something with the right colour along to your paint supplier and having it colour matched. I don't know that the old colour codes are that relevant any more with new paint and chemical formulations.

Had a bit of a trawl through the forums and seems quite a few people have them on ex-MOD trucks. Not a common size though and are probably quite expensive to buy new.

Of course size isn't everything. You need to consider tread pattern, etc. too.

Guess that answers your question about the crank seals huh :?

Good thing you seem to have enough space to spread out in though.

You are doing a fine job there. Been a long time since I have seen an engine that gunged up. Last one was a straight 6 in an Austin Truck (same engine as the Wolsley 110).

Sucks :(

Well, as ever Stirling, you did it in style ;)

Will PM you on a LT95.

What caused it? Goodness only knows until you pull it apart, but I wouldn't bother. Just stick a replacement in there.

By the way, why didn't you just undo the drive shafts for towing. Wouldn't the TC go into neutral?
