I have one which I think came off a Range Rover. It looks the same as the one on my Land Rover.

When I first got my Stage 1 I had to submit photos for the insurance and they
show the side stickers fairly well. They're not original as the previous owner
had it resprayed but I assume the location is correct.

I don't know anything about the NZ military modifications. However, it should only be the coil that's voltage dependent and the standard 12V points setup actually uses a 6V coil fed through a dropper resistor.
