Re: Replacement brake servo

I needed one last year. My garage supplied and fitted a pattern one and said they'd guarantee it for a year if they did so, No problems so far (I hope not famous last words) It came in a Britpart box and was made in Taiwan, so I at least feel I'm doing my bit to support non-Communist Taiwan! :)

Re: Seeking Photos

Surely your best bet is the Series 3 Parts Catalogue: http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/2010/03/series-iii-parts-book/ and maybe searching google images. As map says, there are variations. I haven't any photos publicly available that I can link to that I think would help you, and I've looked th...

Re: Stage 1 Project

Nice looking truck.

A new Richards galvanised chassis is best if you've the money - no idea what it would cost to ship such a thing to the States

Re: stage 1 v8 88

Thanks for posting this. Here's the link to the Series 3 webpage of the Dunsfold Collection: http://www.dunsfoldcollection.co.uk/collection/series3#main From this I also see that Stage 1 prototype THP 74R, which I've seen for sale a couple of times over recent years, has also found its way into the ...

Re: Bumper wanted

I stand corrected. I meant Defender bumper. Both the bumpers I replaced were painted Defender bumpers.

Re: Bumper wanted

I know it's an old thread - but does anyone know for certain if the 564704 bumper will fit with the distance plates ? As with a 110 bumper, I think it's not so much 'will fit' as 'can be made to fit', because the lower distance plates are angled, as are the lower fixing plates welded to the (correc...

Re: Heater box pipework numbers?

Further to my post above, I've got the two metal heater pipes (feed and return) for RH Steering models - they are both the same - part number NRC2985 They are still connected together with 2 clamps, part no. 594637 (described as saddle clips in the Optional Parts book) & fixings thereto Also sti...
