Re: New owner of RHP175R

I'm pretty sure it's mine furthest away. All the clues match up.

Here's a picture of the outbuildings at Studley Castle in the 80s (scroll down to the first picture): https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/about-us/about-the-trust Save it to your computer - it actually saves a lot larger than on the webpage - and blow it up. Re: New owner of RHP175R

I'll also need to open a photo sharing account as my phone pics are too big for the forum. Is Photobucket the easies...

Re: ** STOLEN ** Stage One SW

It's safe and well and I'll be getting it back on the road later this year. It will turn 40 in December so I'll appreciate the free tax! I'm delighted to have saved this piece of Land Rover history. It will appear in Classic Land Rover magazine in due course. I'd love to speak to Christopher Mahony ...

Re: New owner of RHP175R

Thanks Geoff,
Just looking into a bit of history now. It was used by BMIHT as a run around and tow truck in the 1980s. It was in LRE magazine in 2001 in James Taylor's Roverphile.

Just to let you know I have bought prototype number 2 from the salvage yard in Nottingham. It's safe and will be restored over time.
Cheers
