Any diff allows one side to spin faster than the other (diff action). This allows road wheels on one axle to turn a corner (one wheel spins faster than the other). The outer wheel of the turn travels further than the inner. Otherwise a linked axle would eventually break from stress (wind-up). Same p...

Its Mechano.
Download the parts list from this website and print off a few pages. It can be a little confusing but covers everything you need. Most of which is common with Series II and III.

Its the same speedometer as any Ser III 109 with 7.50 16" tyres. There is about four different faces depending on whether its in kilometres, miles or both. They are still available new but you can't always be too fussy on which face you want. Otherwise they are to a standard Smiths design and a...

Depends on what kind of life its had.

I would expect the speedo to die after it roles over 200K.

Thanks.

At least if I go Britpart it should fit. I'll have to contact them and see if it still includes a drain point.

I intend to use the diesel sender so there will be a low level warning light.

Replacement fuel tank

I need to replace the original rear fuel tank. Does anyone know if replacements are available or if someone has NOS? If so what brands to buy, or avoid?

Yes, I know they are close. What I was wondering was if the cores are the same. As 110 radiators are far cheaper and it doesn't cost much to have tanks swapped.

Radiators

Does anyone what differences there are between a Stage One V8 radiator and that of a 110 V8?

If there are differences, can the later part be retro fitted?

Already spotted it.

Still can't work out how to get it to Australia.

But no bids as yet. I'd be banging on this guy's door and waving cash.

Exhaust manifolds

Would anyone in Australasia have one or both exhaust manifolds for a Stage One V8?

Just had mine powder coated and found a couple of cracks. Used or new old stock doesn't matter.

Sundym glass

I'd like to fit 110 door tops to my wagon.

Does anyone know if there is 110 door glass to match the green Sundym found in the Stage 1?

Off the track a little but you do know that Australia is littered with Land-Rovers? Having been amazed the Mini Moke craze of a few years ago where any rotten old Moke and Minis were being sent to the States at ridiculously marked up prices. The idea of Land-Rovers seems to have been missed. I don't...

Thanks, I don't have a problem with military systems so I'm happy to give it some study.

I can't open the attachments you've included. Could you send them in a direct e-mail?

Regards,
Mark.

Thanks, I will look this up. The only 90/110 listings I had studied were for traditional carb arrangements. I hadn't thought to look at later models with in tank pumps.

Hey Map My Stage One has an auxiliary fitted under the passenger seat with a fill on the near side guard. I use the auxiliary to pump across to the main tank when it's empty. Pete Thought of this, however I have a wagon. So I either use a top fill tank or come up with something like the Army comman...
