Re: V8 finally started after 3 years of sitting, over the mo

Offchurch! Indeed! You know the place? Great food. We are there again at the end of the month. Overtaken indeed. 60mph with the roof off is more than quick enough. The pick up has been so handy, moving house, taking stuff from the new house to the tip, much better than trying to put it in the moder...

Re: V8 finally started after 3 years of sitting, over the mo

Landy certainly earned her keep the other week. 120mile round trip, roof off and no problems. did get some odd looks as we were overtaken! have both RX8 seats fitted - much more comfortable now. need to get them wired in to enjoy fully. http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww70/fragglerock1664/land%20...

Re: Quentin Wilsons Stage 1 V8 Pickup for sale

I quite fancy another pickup.

Would you take £500 seeing as it will need collecting and work doing prior to a MOT and potentially a new engine if l cannot find the mouse making the squeak?

thanks

Re: Another Stage One on Ebay

a couple of useful parts on there - front axle, fuel tank and steering relay.
if l had the storage space and a trailer l would pick that up. Chassis isn't much use to me but the parts would be worth a punt. I expect that will make £200 (and maybe end up as a ringer!)

Re: V8 finally started after 3 years of sitting, over the mo

Well it's been a good day, Managed to get the new passenger seat fitted. Made up 4 brackets, welded to the seat runner and bolted down to the seat box. Made a massive difference, very nice and comfortable. Next to get the drivers seat brackets welded on and the electrics wired in for the adjustment ...

just picked up the part today £7.12 from Rimmer Bros!!! now here is the stupid question: how the heck to l fit the damn thing? does the gear shift shaft unscrew from the selector rod ball joint so you can removed the rubber boot/gator and the holding down plate with the 3 bolt holes in in it and sli...
