When i first had my Stage 1 same thing happened going uphill. It was the fuel filter on the bulkhead clogged. Went like a bomb when i changed this filter. Do it every 12 Months now.

Hi Chaps
On the subject of oil pressure, just what should they run at? Mine rarely gets above 30 lbs and often drops below 5lbs. I use the truck almost every day and did a 500 miler last year to Gaydon and back without mishap.My 78 Range Rover runs at 50lbs most of the time.

It should be there by now. I find that when people get a bit itchy it arrives the next day.I'll check with Mike in the Post Office but he usually lets me know if theres a problem.

I just bought a cheapie from my local motorparts shop and fitted it in the lower dash to the left of the dials. 3.99 i seem to recall it was a universal one.

Seems to me that the earlier Stage 1s had the big round cleaners and the later ones like my 83 had the oval ones similar to the range rover.
