Welcome to the club. I don't know about the engine number, but I'm excited to find out. I think it's great the way all of our Stage 1s have such unique attributes. . .

Hey weren't a lot of the Australian Stage 1s fitted with LR approved 4.4 V8s? I seem to remember reading about that in the Series III Performance book . . .

Heard back from the UK seller today. He gave me the correct VIN and it matches with the vehicle report I ordered earlier. So that's good. But I think he only got back into touch with me because I pretended to be interested in importing another one of his vehicles. Still working on getting the correc...

Jon- Great! Thanks. When you get a chance to look at it, I need it to be fully functional or restorable to fully functional for the emissions police. I guess it is turning out to be a positive that these guys are such Nazis . . . making me work that much harder to take her back to original condition...

Need Exhaust manifold

Hey all-

I have cleaned up my right hand exhaust manifold only to find that it is cracked. Does anyone have or have access to a right hand exhaust manifold (the one that the warm air box attaches to)? Part ERC5925. . .

If you are buying a new block, then a weber shouldn't be that much more of an investment. Unless, of course, you are buying from RPi. Check out summitracing.com and search for the Weber 500. I'll bet price and shipping will get you in still much lower than RPi. . .
