Re: Restoration
The original colour chart looked so dated that I started thinking about a more current Defender colour. However, I don't want it to look like a Defender so have come back around to thinking that a more original colour would be better. I'm pretty much settled on a dark Bronze Green at the moment, po...

Brake servo
I wouldn't normally consider using any non-Genuine/OE quality brake parts but I need a new servo and there is a considerable price difference from the aftermarket ones supplied by the usual suspects Britpart/Bearmach/Allmakes, if you can even find a Genuine/TRW one for a Series Land Rover. Anyone go...

Re: New owner
Hi and welcome. Remember seeing Quentin Wilson's pickup at my local garage one time, and the present (I assume still) owner was on here a while ago interested in selling it, but I recall seemed to want a lot for it just because it had belonged to Wilson. Looking forward to seeing some photos of your...

Re: Ebay again
You may be right this is a BS artist - the auction has been pulled despite there being bidders and it's now been relisted as a classified ad at £22,000 inviting offers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-LAND-ROVER-STAGE-1-SERIES-3-V8-109-1-TON-5-DOOR-STATION-WAGON-L-H-DRIVE/333315278388?ssPageName=STR...

Re: Ebay again
Described as a "STAGE 1 LIGHTWEIGHT SERIES 3 109 1 TON V8" ?!?! but actually converted to diesel ... and gas. And it's in Bulgaria.

Re: where to mount the heater control valve
ERC3484 Good luck finding one. And good luck fitting it if you do, if you don't have a Stage 1 engine. I recently removed a leaking valve from one of mine but couldn't see how to remove the bracket. You're probably best finding some other way to mount your new valve, unless anyone else knows differe...
