Re: Front Grille needed
Welcome aboard Llandes, Good luck finding a grill. If you can't find one I don't think it would be to hard to make one. I see you are in California Llandes, did you import the Stagey or purchase it there. I have been told that the Stage One was not exported to the US but I have no other information ...

Re: Looking for LT95 RR high range gear set
Not sure if he will have what you are looking for but I found some obscure parts at TLR in South Pittsburg, TN. The owner is Bill Bradford and he is very helpful. His email address is bill@tntlr.com
Hope that helps mate.

Welcome aboard!
Looks like you have been in a good paddock for the last 15 years too, bit like me! Great start to the story. How did it get to the US?
Regards Warrick.

Re: The Disc Brake Conversion
Thanks Spen. I am sure that this thread will be a "must read first" for anyone with an idea of disk brake conversion for their Stagey. You have outlined and explained the topic very well. Looking forward to hearing how it drives with 4 wheel disk brakes.

Re: Hi all, new owner stage1 88 prototype
Looks like a fun project and something that is very original. I read through the article regarding the building of the vehicle by Land Rover (great reading and thank you for posting) and it reminds me of the Series 111 Game. The Game was sold in Australia in the late 1970's and could of also influen...

Welcome along. What a beautiful Stage One, I don't think I have seen an example in as good a condition as yours before. Hope to see more of it in the future.

Very exciting to see those disk brakes on your Stage One. Are those the Timm Cooper designed conversion kit? Look forward to hearing how you went fitting them. Hope you have a few images as well.

Re: LH exhaust manifold
Yes it is. It is a Holley 390 CFM 4 barrel set up with vacuum secondaries. Should suit the 3.9 that it is feeding. Looking forward to hearing the thing with some fuel running through its veins. Should sound good. The headers flow through to a 2 ½ single stainless exhaust for a clean crisp sound. I l...

Re: LH exhaust manifold
I am in the process of fitting performance headers to my engine. They will need some modification to fit however. I will post images of the mods once I get the motor back in. Couple of images below of headers fitted to new motor before the task of getting them to clear engine bay and chassis. Regard...

Thanks for the welcome. For those in the land of cold summers and freezing winters, a picture of my Landy. http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w406/mick_marsh_AULRO/Chocolate%20Mill%20Run%20May%202012/DSC_0620.jpg Ok, very little of the Stage_1ness is left but it did start out as a 3.9d station wag...

Thanks for all the replies to my request for help in sourcing a steering box. I just received one in the mail from the USA of all places. Couldn't believe my luck when Bill from TLR Land Rover Parts in Pittsburgh had a right hand drive One Ton steering box sitting in his warehouse. Brand new origina...
