L/R part no: ETC7123 = SU part no: FZX 2005R for SU HIF44 right hand carb of the pair on a Land Rover V8.

(Seller of the ETC7123 managed to get a look as the dashpot tag)

I use 20/50 from Mole Valley Farmers (local agricultural wholesaler); seems to do the job OK in the engine and the gearbox.

I have use the Halfords 'Classic' 20/50 - its OK but a bit pricey. MVF is only 2/3 of the cost.

Thanks. That confirms what hoped was correct. Only ever use it in high ratio 4th (ie as a 5th gear) so hopefully it should give good service. The increase in mpg on long runs is very noticeable - as is the reduced noise !

Have just done a 6,000 mile service on the 110 V8 (LT95 box) - first that I have done myself since fitting the overdrive. Given that the unit is mounted well above the transfer box oil filler plug, how do you check that it has enough oil ? There's plenty in the T box as careful removal of the filler...

Some good advice above. The Tinley Tech system fitted to my 110 V8 by Richard at Glencoyne (he's on this forum too, but worth scanning the LPG page on his website) paid for itself in about a year. Very few problems with it. I always start & warm up on petrol before switching over to lpg - it see...

Check that the fuel solenoid in the LPG system is working. I had very similar symptoms - poor running on petrol, then no running. Turned out to be a faulty petrol solenoid. About £15 to have it replaced.
