I have one which I think came off a Range Rover. It looks the same as the one on my Land Rover.

Drop me an e-mail if interested.

Re: Sureterm

Peter Best have provided cover as long as there are no more then seven people they are happy to cover 12 seats. Interesting. Mine's been with Peter Best since I got it in 2001 and I've just checked my original proposal form to see that I declared 12 seats and I don't remember any mention of not bei...

Seb,

I'd be interested if not too pricey as my yet to be fitted overdrive has the Range Rover linkage.

When I first got my Stage 1 I had to submit photos for the insurance and they
show the side stickers fairly well. They're not original as the previous owner
had it resprayed but I assume the location is correct.

I don't know anything about the NZ military modifications. However, it should only be the coil that's voltage dependent and the standard 12V points setup actually uses a 6V coil fed through a dropper resistor. The resistor is bypassed when cranking by an auxiliary contact on the starter solenoid to ...

Stage 1 brakes are the same as 6-cyl (but not 4-cyl) Series 3

Mine has a later rear door (90/110 or Defender) with an extra hinge, heated glass and wash-wipe. One of these days I'll get round to wiring it all up! Also the spare tyre is higher and out of the way of the tow hitch.

I don't think it can be made compulsory but I do think it is helpful. There is quite a wide spread community here. Perhaps those who haven't filled it in would consider updating their profile? Just click on the link near the top of the page. Don't forget to scroll down and click Submit at the bottom...

Agreed. Mine has 235/85 on 1 ton rims and I think they look just right. The speedo is spot on too!

Yes, guests are included in the count. That will include things like search engines indexing the site and spam bots trying to register. 68 is still surprisingly high though and there wasn't an especially high registration rejection that day. Since I added the extra question to the registration proce...
