I've had a few enquiries on the overdrive linkage, will deal with them in order ... Just got to find it, I it it somewhere safe on Friday to make sure t didn't end up in the scrap skip ...can't find it now! (Even emptied the entire scrap skip to make sure it didn't end up there!)

Also got a box of overdrive bits I think we for the LT95 overdrive - synchro hubs, bearings etc - free if someone wants them

Find a few teething troubles, Big oil lack on the LH bank, seems to have been rocker cover gasket so hopefully got that one sorted. Rear diff flange leaking, will need a sleeve for the flange Lots of muck in the fuel system, but filter seems to be staying clean after 3 flushes bowls half full of muc...

Some tweaks still needed yep, Trim to go in, stickers to go on, oils to flush in a few hundred miles, old style number plates needed, roof does need adjusting now is been out and moved Engines running well and gearbox is ok ... Not used to the performance from a series, or the ride - so smooth compa...

Passed the MOT yesterday so all legal now :) A little tuning needed, adjustment to the brakes and steering wheel is off centre so needs moving Gearbox is noisy, I remember them being noisy in the RRC and that had lots of trim, so not sure yet whether its ok or not .... The only bit I didn't rebuild....

Nope, that's snot right If its just the crank in it should spin pretty free, a little more effort needed once its got a set of pistons Sounds like the bearing, it shouldn't be touching the crank webs. Are they a decent brand the bearings? Are they forth the right engine ? Not sure if the bottom end ...

Almost a year on, time for another update. It lives :D For the first time in the 6 1/2 years I've had it, it moved under its own power. That number comes us as V8's without steering locks, its a screw in one. I think the one some suppliers are selling under the old stage 1 number are the ntc item. Well be the same problem. The ones got though was in genuine LR packet with nrc5069 on it - problem is parts book doesn't differentiate b...
