Re: Aussie ute

I don't think it has restrictors in place. It goes better uphill than my old 110 used too.

It doesn't really like taking off in 2nd gear.

Re: Aussie ute

What's with all that starting off in first gear? - shouldn't be necessary - you haven't still got the restrictors in have you? Oh, and what's that chip frying noise in the back? :) 10 years of owning a 110 with an LT95 with 0.996 high range gears and not being used to the low gearing. I haven't eve...

Re: Leaking carb

I ran my 110 for 4 years without any oil in the dashpots.

It really didn't make any difference.

As for rebuilding them, it's a pretty easy straight forward job.

Re: Aussie ute

Put some more kms on it last week. I think the crossply tyres will need to go. They are hard work in the wet. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b220/lewy110/Mobile%20Uploads/20160915_113421-01_zpstddfcqro.jpeg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b220/lewy110/Mobile%20Uploads/20160915_113445_zpsxkegwku...

Re: Stromberg carb metering needle part numbers

I need to search for the info I used to put new needles in my 110 when I changed the 3.5 to a 3.9.

I think mine is running a little lean and I will have to look into.

I also need to find my needle adjusting tool.

Re: Limestone Station Wagon

I was checking out the OZ pig at a local shop last week.

They look pretty good. These guys have a segment on cooking with one in almost all episodes

Re: Aussie ute

I did it window still up. It wasn't too bad as I used a magnetic screwdriver to guide them in.
