I found them on an online shop here in the Netherlands

They are the original stickers, but I don't know if he still has sets left.

price for 2 x "Land Rover V8" on the side and "V8" for the back was €60,- at the time.

Now it becomes clear why you attatched one hose from the rockercover to the connection in front of the throttle valve! I aready askes myself why you did that but now I see! If it works properly, please share it. Then I can dump that valve also :) The other sensor in the inlet besides the theromstate...

On http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a16/stirlsilver/IMG_6661.jpg it looks like it has been chopped off a cm of so, at least I thought so. Was nearly in panic that my measurements were wrong, luckily it isn't. I see you also don't use the extra air valve that is normally fitted beside the thermostate...

Why did you cut your intake down? Is it to high so the bonnet wont close? In that case, how much did you take off to get it to fit?

Cheers!

When you are planning to rotate the axle and change the angle of the diff, please keep in mind that you can't get the oil in the diff up to normal level without replacing your plug.. Bummer when the diff breaks down after all this work because there wasn't enough oil in it..

Instead of welding the injector holes up, I made threads in it, screwed inbus bolts in and grinded off the bolt ends wich block the inlet port. Nice and clean solution without putting too much heat in the alloy so the manifold will not bend. The throttle cable problem is something a am going to cope...

That's right, bought myself a piper high torque cam from RPI. From what I heard it is a good investment.. I wasn't actually planning on going just on LPG at the time of the rebuilt. Maybe I would have done it a bit different... O well, this setup should be a big improvement on what I had in terms of...

I considered that indeed, but just didn't have the money to buy new pistons at the time... I went up a bit from 8.13:1 to 8.25, but that won't be a big improvement. Got some extra off the heads as well. Maybe an investment for later, would be great to go to 10:1 or so indeed! I don't exactly know ho...

Some more progress now. Engine is nearly ready to put in the car. Just pulled the old lump and gearbox out.

I am going to run it just on LPG now with an EFI inletmanifold of a 3.5 rangerover

Some pictures of the progress on http://manfred2266.fotopic.net/c266670.html

Plug leads, plug caps, timing problems but don't forget worn camshaft.
Does the engine make a ticking noise, of does it run completely quiet?
