Well, I'm glad I asked. I was/am curious why so many threads just stopped. Great looking vehicles. Has given me a bit more inspiration to get mine sorted.

It has an aftermarket version of the original 109 V8 type (PRC3343), bolted and earthed to the chassis, and has fuel inlet and outlet pipes. Very simple pump as I understand it.

being unfamiliar with Series Land Rovers, can anyone tell me if I should hear the fuel pump running when I turn on the ignition? Me too. I liked the look of the ribbed ones Pegasus had but the others I've seen look pretty cheap n nasty.

It's your standard utility vehicle; 2 front doors, rear door, hard top and sides. Galvanised chassis and I think, a replacement bulkhead. Engine was rebuilt by RPI in the late 90's
