am in 2 minds wether to sale my stage 1 have just rebuilt most of engine and done all brakes and welding that it has needed if anyone on here is interested i am open to serious offers. its a 1981 3.5 carb has no tax or test f nterested leave comment here or phone 07889780104

not atall mate turns over better than yesterday had leads all wrong sorted it today all it get is back fire/misfire dont run yet

have now got engine back in but firing order not right will rectify later as im back at work now

has standard size in as its not had a regrind if u could send me all the part numbers that would be great thanks engine doesnt need to come out have checked this before starting to strip it lol

Right new huge problem now my head gaskets have blowen where is the best place to get replacements??also need to replace my big ends and shell bearings does anyone know what size these are as i have been told there are 5 different sizes!!!

got brakes done but not bled them yet lost day light what is the best order to bleed them in??also car only runs with coke half out anything else and she dies,also still have the misfire on right hand bank???

yh hard thats the worst bit something with the shuttle on the chassis is a nightmare it hoards the air

yh i have helped my dad do them before so know more or less what im up against

thanks map have it sorted was an air hose.they are zenith either 175cd or 75cd cant remember exactly.but not to worry it works again now

have sorted the problem it was a stupid bloody air hose that had kinked and split when i striped air box apart!!!!sorted problem only got indoors but 10 min ago she now runs very sweet next challenge is brakes and fuel sender which is rather easy after speaking to my dad

fuck fuckity fuck lol.time to concentrate on v8 suppliment to try and understand it then lol.when u say stomberg i have twin zenniths on mine dont know if thats the same.do u know cyclinder positions as if u were in drivers seat lookin forwar on the left hand bank is it 1,3,5,7 and on the right 2,4,...

have the lightest oil possible in them which was 3in1 oil which is what my old man told me to use.she revs a little bit when peddle goes to floor but doesnt roar like she should at idle can feel a mis fire.is it possible tht if i have mixed up two leads and got them the wrong way round will she stil...

ok did run sweetly av hit a new problem now it wont rev up when i depress the throttle peddle have put new distributor cap and leads on but not sure if it is firing on all 8 cyclinders
