Hi my stage one X NZ army is fitted with extended spring hangers, the main chassis mounts are not extended, it gives the Rover a nice ride hight at the rear. I have also fitted parabolic springs, which has been a worth while job. Cheers Dave

Hi Alan, I have considered cropping the back end off, however, that would require the back body to reduced in size and the rear fuel tank to be removed. maybe I am asking too much from the old girl, and should get a SWB landy for the hard yak stuff. Dave

conversion 109 to 88 inch wheel base

Hi, has anyone tried it, I have a 109 stage one rolling chassis , plan to turning it into a 88 inch, are there any pit falls.
Original Stage one V8 88 inch do they use the salsbury rear axle.
I enjoy the 109, however has its limitation off road.

Hi, no diff lockers I look at fitting one to the rear, however the cost was large. Tyres are deestone SAT 7.50 by 16, good mud tyre. I also run 235/85 by 16 bridgestone MT.
Plenty of off road in the Wellington area, should jack a stage one trip up. Cheers Dave
