ah so you have a mallory electronic ignition, so no points or condenser. I'd still start with that kit though, and make sure that it's not damaged or loose.

LT Lead, Condenser (likely), timing, Coil, Points in pretty much that order. Check Vac advance too if it only happens after a run rather than just idling.

I see you have a rev counter in there, looks very similar to one I purchased from flea bay. Have you git it working as I appear to be getting some odd results. I've take the signal wire the coil and set the gauge to 8 cyc but seems to be showing way too many rpm.

Header Tank
My header tank is leaking where the the pipe from the rad meets, it's off to be soldered up but as is NLA and just in case any one got an idea of a replacement alternative?

Didn't check properly so ordered 1980 onwards front hoses as mine in an '82 and the don't fit (different thread). Go and recheck and find that the set up I have is pre 1980.
Annoyed. So now off the road again and hope I can order on Friday and get a Saturday delivery.

Bearing sorted, cleaned an tighten up. Popped a new shock in while there.
