Re: Choke Cable Chestnut

Is pegasus still trading? As I tried their website and the link didn't work.

Re: Choke Cable Chestnut

I had thought Pegasus had this sorted. However all the cable's components are common. It's a case of getting one of the cable makers to consider producing a batch. You'll probably find one of the other BL switches cheaper, reproduced and available. The usual difference is that they have a short loom...

Re: Plagiarised

JLR, within their NEWS page

I can only assume they have a couple of hacks trying to fill their website.

Plagiarised

I have only just noticed that "Just Land Rovers" (a sales website) have plagiarised an article I have on ARonline (Land Rover GAME). Not at all impressed and yes, I see the irony in that I am actually advertising them in writing this.
Sent them a request for it to be taken down, not hopeful.

I don't quite see how you want this measured. I have a spare bonnet which is accessible.

Re: Restoration

Well funny you say that; https://www.jauntmotors.com/news (the Land-Rover link didn't work for me this time) updates from the nutty professor (owner's persona) have stopped. I wouldn't mind having a close look at one without the sales hype. As a friend said, if he lived in Adelaide he try for a job ...

Re: Restoration

Yes there are two basic stem hole sizes. A Land-Rover wheel usually requires a tube with the fatter stem or with a narrow stem the plastic collar can be used. Despite having had to fit a lot of tyres over the years I haven't struck tubeless stems for the larger hole. I'm amazed it held any pressure ...

Re: Stage 1 axle splines

Whether you count the highs or lows of splines always creates the difference of one. However a Series 3 and 110 CV will interchange from the half shaft perspective. It's the stub axle measurements of the CV that are different.

Re: Stage 1 axle splines

It's been a while since I had to do this but front is correct, as the half shafts and CV's are unique. Internal at the cv end is the same as for 110. Rover diff is the same as for 4 and 6 cyl. For the rears I'll say yes but I've only had to deal with one design and it was the same as 110. Because yo...
